A heating-system control method includes: obtaining, from a heat supply source, a heat radiation reduction instruction to reduce heat radiation of heating devices during a heat radiation reduction period (S101); predicting a change in a room temperature which is to occur during the heat radiation reduction period for each of rooms; determining, based on the change predicted in the predicting, a pre-shutoff accumulated temperature that allows the room temperature of the room to reach a predetermined target temperature at a heat radiation reduction end time (S102); and causing each of the heating devices (i) to radiate heat in order for the room temperature of the room to reach the pre-shutoff accumulated temperature during a pre-shutoff heat accumulation period from when the heat radiation reduction instruction is obtained to a heat radiation reduction start time and (ii) to stop heat radiation at the heat radiation reduction start time (S103, S104). |
