摘要 In the present invention, there is disclosed a barrier fabric with a nano-fibrous layer for mechanical retention of organic substances formed by a sandwich structure comprising a supporting base material from unwoven fabric wherein at least one nano-fibrous layer being selected from the group consisting of a hydrophobic polymer or in case of two layers a combination of a hydrophilic polymer in one layer and a hydrophobic polymer in the other layer, is arranged on the sandwich structure supporting base material. The individual layers of the sandwich are connected with each other. The supporting base material from unwoven fabric of the sandwich structure is of "spunbond" type with areal weight of 15 to 50 g/me2. The nano-fibrous layer of the sandwich structure, being withdrawn from a polymer solution and attached directly to the supporting base material, consists of an organic material polymer with areal weight in the range of 0.05 to 0.3 g/me2 and fiber thickness in the range of 90 to 150 nm. The nano-fibrous layer of the sandwich structure, which forms a barrier preventing penetration of allergens produced by dust mites through material of mattress covers and cushions, bed linen or furnishing fabrics, is of hydrophilic polymer PA6 from a group of polyamides, areal weight thereof is in the range of 0.1 to 0.15 g/me2, and the fiber thickness of said nano-fibrous layer is 100 nm. This nano-fibrous layer is provided with a cover layer being selected from the group consisting of unwoven fabric of the "spunbond" type, or of the “meltblown” type, a cotton fabric and/or a mixture of cotton and polyester. The nano-fibrous layer of the sandwich structure, which forms a barrier preventing penetration of microorganisms comprising bacteria and viruses through the material of surgical gowns, surgical masks or biological filters, consists of organic hydrophobic polymeric material of polyurethane or fluoropolymer PVDF or copolymers thereof and its areal weight is in the range of 0.05 to 0.2 g/me2 and the fiber thickness of the nano-fibrous layer is in the range of 100 to 150 nm. The barrier fabric according to the present invention can comprise addition of acaricides or antimicrobial substance.
