The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing a pravastatin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a valsartan or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as active ingredients. In addition, the present invention provides a cardiovascular disease treating kit capable of preventing diabetes, which comprises: a) a first composition containing pravastatin or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient; and b) a second composition valsartan or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof containing as an active ingredient; and a method for preventing side effects of diabetes and treating cardiovascular diseases, which comprises a step of administering a composition containing pravastatin and valsartan as active ingredients to a subject, or a step of simultaneously administering a composition containing pravastatin and a composition containing valsartan to a subject. |
