PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of flaws on a recording medium. ! SOLUTION: A feeding device includes a loading unit capable of loading a plurality of recording mediums, a feeding unit for conveying the recording medium loaded on the loading unit from the upper most side, and a separation unit for contacting the recording medium conveyed by the feeding unit to prevent double feeding of the recording medium. The separation unit comprises a movable contact body for contacting the recording medium, and the movable contact body can be moved according to the loading height of the recording medium loaded on the loading unit. !
