PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue colored composition for a color filter having good heat resistance and having such a property that, by using the blue colored composition for adjusting lightness of blue, white on a display can be adjusted to an aimed color temperature without changing color space specifications of Adobe RGB even in a thin film state of the composition, and to provide a color filter formed by using the above composition. ! SOLUTION: The blue colored composition for a color filter comprises a pigment (A), a binder resin (B), a solvent (C), and a photopolymerization initiator (D). The pigment (A) essentially comprises a blue pigment and contains, as toning pigments, a yellow pigment by 1 to 3.5 wt.% with respect to the content of the whole pigments, and a red pigment by 18 to 40 wt.% with respect to the content of the whole pigments. !
