PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of image-forming for a job attached with a user specification. ! SOLUTION: A multi-function machine 1, in a first configuration that is incorporated with a fusing part 15 and not with speed-increase software 52 in a control device 40, operates in a normal mode for forming an image at a first speed, while, in a second configuration that is incorporated with an increased-speed fusing part 51 in place of the fusing part 15 and with the speed-increase software 52 in the control device 40, operates in the normal mode for forming an image at a first speed and in a double-speed mode for forming an image at a second speed that is double the first speed at a maximum. Further, in the second configuration, the multi-function machine 1 separately manages the number of outputs in the normal mode and the number of outputs in the double-speed mode. !
