PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an image processing method, that can appropriately select a preferable light source correction even when a user cannot determine to select the preferable light source correction, while reducing a load on a user to the minimum. ! SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: image selecting means that selects a chart image; input means that receives input of an ID of the selected chart image which a user inputs considering the image as a preferable chart image after the user views the selected chart image; setting means that, when determining that the input means receives one chart image whose input is received, sets a light source parameter corresponding to a light source correction applied to the one chart image, to image data which the user desires to output.
