<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel assist system, travel assist method, and computer program making it possible to learn the contents of an appropriate vehicle operation.SOLUTION: When a vehicle that is at a halt begins traveling, an arrival point (reference arrival point) in five sec is specified on the assumption that the vehicle that begins traveling in a current advancing direction from a departure point travels at 20 km per hour in five sec since the beginning of traveling. Assuming that the vehicle travels with a curent accelerator pedal effort, a point (predicted arrival point) at which the vehicle is predicted to arrive in five sec since the beginning of traveling is calculated. Both the predicted arrival point and reference arrival point are presented.</p> |
