PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus, which can solve the problem that an apparatus, configured to reduce optical deterioration in one frame of a TV video in an approximate actual time and restore an original image before the deterioration, has a large size as much as 150 million gates.SOLUTION: One frame of a TV video is set as a brightness distribution of a deteriorated image and an estimated brightness distribution of an initial value of a restored image; a brightness distribution of a first PSF specified according to deterioration level of the deteriorated image is used in a first iterative operation; a brightness distribution of a second PSF to which the brightness distribution of the first PSF is restored by image restoring means is used in a second iterative calculation; and, while setting the estimated brightness distribution of the restored image by the first iterative calculation as the estimated brightness distribution of the initial value of the second restored image, a second iterative calculation is performed by the image restoring means that determines the estimated brightness distribution of the restored image that has maximum likelihood to the brightness distribution of the deteriorated image by real number calculation based on Bayse probability theory, so that a TV image close to an original image before the deterioration is obtained by a device with a large size as much as seventy thousand gates in an approximately real time. |
