PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support progress of discussion in which a plurality of participants synchronously utter.SOLUTION: A discussion support device 1 includes: utterance extraction means 22 for storing utterance data that maps time when utterance of a participant occurs in a discussion to a word extracted from the utterance in a storage device 10; estimation means 23 for calculating an utterance ratio which is the rate of time of discussion to time when the utterance is generated and the amount of information in the discussion calculated from the word to estimate kinds of estimation discussion from the utterance ratio and the amount of information; and output means 24 for outputting the kinds of estimation discussion estimated by the estimation means 23 to an output device 40.
