SEALING APPARATUS FOR CHARGING HOLE IN COKE OVEN

The present invention relates to a sealing device of a charging hole of a coke oven which can prevent gas, which is generated in the process of dry distillation in a carbonization chamber of a coke oven, from leaking to the outside. The sealing device of a charging hole of a coke oven in the present invention comprises: a fixing frame having a tapered portion which is formed in a ring shape having a predetermined height and is inclined downwardly toward the center therein, and provided in a charging hole for charging raw materials inside a carbonization chamber; a lead inserted into the inside of the fixing frame so as to seal the charging hole and having a guide groove formed on an outer surface; a sealing member provided in the guide groove so as to come in contact with the tapered portion, and pressed by the weight of the lead; and a buffer member provided in the guide groove along with the sealing member so as to absorb an impact which is applied to the sealing member when inserting the lead.
