<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glow plug with an electronic module having plural functions.SOLUTION: An electronic module has a function relating to control of temperature of a glow plug. Variation or an aging phenomenon due to manufacture of respective glow plugs can be compensated by control date of red-heat elements of the respective glow plugs. By evaluating a manufacturing number of the glow plug, change of the glow plug can be determined. The control date stored in a separate memory of a control device for controlling and standardized for a glow plug type can be used according to information of the glow plug type. By storing an operating time every time when an operation is completed, aging of the glow plug is identified, and a countermeasure by a corresponding control can be taken, so as to compensate aging. Furthermore, date for evaluating a combustion chamber pressure sensor can be stored in the electronic module.</p> |
