<p>The heat recovered, is coupled into a thermodynamic recirculation process (an absorption-type heat pump) as low temperature heat. It is raised to a higher temperature level in this thermodynamic circuit. It is extracted from the circuit at the higher temperature, as useful- or sensible heat. Simultaneously, moisture in the effluent air is condensed. Low temperature heat in the effluent gas stream, is coupled into the thermodynamic process using a heat exchanger situated directly in the waste gas flow. Low temperature heat is transferred out of the effluent gas stream, into the recirculating process, via a heat exchanger (10) in a quench water circuit (7). The heat exchanger is of tubular coil design. An independent claim is included for the corresponding plant.</p> |
