PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a ferrite composition suitable for a ferrite core for an electronic pen which has a high Q value and has small change in an inductance value (L value) with respect to the temperature; a ferrite core composed of the ferrite composition; and an electronic component having the ferrite core.SOLUTION: There is provided a ferrite composition which mainly comprises: 47.0 to 49.95 mol% of FeO; 1.0 to 12.0 mol% of CuO; 28.0 to 35.0 mol% of ZnO; and 0.01 to 2.4 mol% of MnOand the remainder composed of nickel oxide, wherein the ferrite composition contains: 2 to 65 ppm of P; 40 to 4500 ppm of ZrO; 50 to 2500 ppm of CoO; and 50 to 2500 ppm of SiOas accessory components relative to 100 pts.wt. of the main components, the content of arsenic is 10 ppm or less in terms of As and the total content of FeOand MnOis 50.1 mol% or less.
