PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taper snap ring capable of preventing falling even in a case where a large load is applied in an axial direction. ! SOLUTION: A taper snap ring includes: a first taper snap ring that has a first plain surface orthogonal to an axial line on one side surface, and has a first taper surface which is engaged with an annular engagement groove of a housing on the other side surface and whose plate thickness on an outer diameter side is reduced; and a second taper snap ring that has a second plain surface brought into surface contact with the first plain surface on one side surface, and has a second taper surface which is engaged with a fixed member on the other side surface and whose plate thickness on an inside diameter side is reduced. !
