PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device that has suppressed a reduction in display quality, a manufacturing method of an electro-optical device, and an electronic apparatus. ! SOLUTION: An electro-optical device includes: a liquid crystal panel 40 including an element substrate 51, an opposing substrate 52 that is arranged opposite to the element substrate 51 with sealant 407 therebetween, and a liquid crystal layer 450 enclosed into an area surrounded by the sealant 407; and a mold 60 that covers the outer periphery of the liquid crystal panel 40 and has the contour to be a frame, where the mold 60 covers from the sealant 407 to an area overlapped with at least a part of the sealant 407 in plan view, on a surface of the element substrate 51 on the opposite side of the liquid crystal layer 450 and a surface of the opposing substrate 52 on the opposite side of the liquid crystal layer 450. !
