The present invention relates to a light guide lens for an LED which improves appearance for light emitting diodes arranged with square arrangement by controlling a light emitting path in a square direction. The light guide lens according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a lower light entering surface which has a groove for receiving a light point source and has a convex side or a concave side to receive light from the light point source; an upper first light emitting surface which reflects or refracts light emitted from the lower surface; and a lateral second light emitting surface which emits light reflected from the upper surface to the outside. The second light emitting surface includes a pair of first surfaces and another pair of second surfaces which are connected with a square. The light guide lens allows the light of the point light source to be emitted in a vertical or horizontal direction. Thereby, the light distribution of square can be shown. The dark part in a diagonal direction to the light point source arranged with square arrangement is removed so that the light uniformity of a backlight device can be improved.
