<p>This invention is directed to a superior adhesive for oral adhering discs or troches. The adhesive is at least 80% acacia gum mixed with calcium carbonate so that, as the acacia gum is combined with water, it does not yield a pH lower than 5.5. The preferred ratio of acacia gum to calcium carbonate is within the range 15:1 to 50:1.</p> |
