The present invention relates to a collision avoidance apparatus for a gantry crane, wherein the purpose is to efficiently avoid a collision and a structural accident by a crane while manufacturing costs are cheap. To achieve the above, the present invention provides a collision avoidance apparatus for a gantry crane including a horizontal beam (120) mounted to be separated at a certain distance from the ground, a pair of vertical beams (110) to support the vertical beam (120) and a saddle installed at the bottom of the vertical beam (110) to drive along a rail (140) installed on the ground, the collision avoidance apparatus comprising: a pair of horizontal members (10) installed along the direction of the rail (140) at both sides of the saddle (130); triangular wedge members (14) assembled in each of the horizontal members (10); a loop-shaped displacement member (20) of which both ends are assembled on the horizontal members (10) at the wedge members (14); a vertical member (30) connected to the pair of horizontal members (10) at an end of the saddle (130); springs (40) to connect the displacement member (20) and both ends of the vertical member (30); and a limit switch (50) mounted on each of the pair of horizontal members (10), wherein a protrusion terminal (52) is in contact with an inner side of the displacement member (20). |
