The purpose of the present invention is to provide a wire electrical discharge machining device that is capable of easily executing machining at an appropriate machining speed for a given inter-electrode state, a wire electrical discharge machining method, and a control device. In the case of this control device (2X) for the wire electrical discharge machining device, the control device (2X) is constructed with: a speed ratio arithmetic unit (21) that calculates, on the basis of numerical control (NC) data (D1), machining speed information regarding a corner machining speed at a corner machining part that is appropriate for a machining amount at the corner machining part; a feedback machining speed arithmetic unit (23) that calculates, as a machining speed to be used for feedback control of the wire electrical discharge machining, a machining speed that is appropriate for an inter-electrode state between a wire electrode and a workpiece as measured during the wire electrical discharge machining; and a multiplier (24) that calculates, on the basis of the machining speed information and feedback machining speed, a machining speed (Sx) to be used for controlling the machining device during the machining of the corner machining part. |
