<p>Disclosed are a method, device and system for dynamically allocating an IP address. The method comprises: a switch receiving a packet sent by a communication device which accesses the switch; when it is determined that the packet is a DHCP packet which is sent in a broadcasting manner, acquiring a routing address of a DHCP server corresponding to the communication device, and replacing a broadcasting address of a destination address field of the DHCP packet with the routing address of the DHCP server; and according to the routing address in the modified DHCP packet, routing the modified DHCP packet to the DHCP server. By means of the method, the DHCP packet can only be sent to the DHCP server rather than be broadcasted to all network devices within a broadcasting range, thereby solving the problem in the prior art that a large number of network resources are consumed due to the fact that the DHCP packet is sent to all the network devices within the broadcasting range in a broadcasting manner and the problem of high pressure placed on the performance of a server which need not receive the DHCP packet.</p> |
