PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system that eliminates dead angles in the detection of a subject to accurately perform the detection with a simpler control.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: two or more image projection means; two or more sound detection means for detecting the sound around the respective image projection means; distance determination means for determining the distances from the image projection means to a sound source of the sound on the basis of the sound detected by the sound detection means; direction determination means for determining the direction of the sound source of the sound on the basis of the sound detected by the sound detection means; image creation means for creating images to be projected by the image projection means on the basis of the distance to the sound source determined by the distance determination means and the direction of the sound source determined by the direction determination means; and image projection timing control means for controlling the timing to cause the image projection means to project the images created by the image creation means on the basis of the distance to the sound source determined by the distance determination means and the direction of the sound source determined by the direction determination means.
