<p>PURPOSE:To detect the roll eccentricity in a case of different rotating angular velocity by obtaining each roll eccentricity basing on the rolling loads sampled in a roll kissing state and Fourier analyzing the difference in eccentric quantity in a case of different relative phases. CONSTITUTION:By driving rolls 1, 2 in a roll kissing state, and after generators 6, 8 generate mark pulses, a rolling load WS is detected by a detector 5 at the timing when generators 7, 9 output sampling pulses. The eccentric quantities DELTAS1i, DELTAS2i of backup rolls 3, 4 are obtained by a device 10; and the difference between the DELTAS1i and the DELTAS2i is analyzed by a Fourier analysis at the time when the relative phases of rolls 3, 4 are different from each other, by a device 11; and the rotating angles theta1..., the relative phases alpha..., the amplitudes of roll eccentricities XA..., and the initial phases phiA1... are obtained to obtain the eccentricities X, Y by devices 12, 13. In this way, the quantity of eccentricity can be obtained even when the angular velocities of upper and lower rolls are different from each other.</p> |
