PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contaminant removal method capable of improving efficiency of decontamination work by making longer supply hoses for supplying dry ice pellets to a spray nozzle. ! SOLUTION: Adding ethyl alcohol AL as a hardener to dry ice pellets DP and mixing compressed air with nitrogen gas 35 as a coolant enables suppression of reduction in impact energy of the dry ice pellets DP and extension of a pellet supply hose 21a and an air supply hose 22a to, e.g., about 100 m. !
