<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can efficiently supply an adhesive in manufacturing a filter of tobacco.SOLUTION: A method is for supplying a fluid (an adhesive or the like) on a carrier 2 by at least one nozzle 4 in a device of a tobacco industry. In the method of supplying the fluid, the fluid is supplied to the nozzle 4 by a supply device 11 from a fluid container 10, and the nozzle 4 includes a main body 12 and at least one movable member 13. The fluid is supplied on the carrier 2 through an outlet orifice of the nozzle 4. The nozzle 4 includes an adjustment mechanism 19, and mutual positions of the movable member 13 and the main body 12 of the nozzle 4 are changed by the adjustment mechanism 19. Thereby, a surface area of the outlet orifice of the nozzle 4 is changed.</p> |
