<p>The present invention consists in an affordable and ecological method for manufacturing films of TiO2, which uses Alginate as a support and adherent to glass substrates using the offset or screen print technique. In addition, the invention comprises the method for applying these films for the photodegradation of methyl violet 2B and Safranin O, two polluting dyes used in the textile and semiconductors industry. The films are manufactured with a solution of Alginate in distilled water, the solution including the required amount of the TiO2 semiconductor for obtaining the desired TiO2/Alg ratio by weight. Once the semiconductor is incorporated into the solution, the material is deposited by the offset or screen print technique over the substrates of glass.</p> |
