PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tension pulley device of an elevator which inhibits vibration of a governor rope in a vertical direction, achieves downsizing, and enables easy installation.SOLUTION: A rotary damper 25 includes: a damper body 41 fixed to a hoistway 1; and a rotor 42 which is provided at the damper body 41 and is rotated while receiving a resistance force from the damper body 41. A tension pulley device body 30, which applies a tensile force to a governor rope 16 by the self-weight, includes a tension pulley 21 around which the governor rope 16 is wound. A lever 26 connected with the tension pulley device body 30 is provided at the rotor 42. The rotor 42 is rotated by the lever 26 according to displacement of the tension pulley 21 in a vertical direction. |
