A method for producing ethanol from a sugar produced from a biomass, said method comprising the steps of: adding an additive solution containing at least acetic acid, formic acid, furfural and hydroxymethylfurfural to the sugar to prepare a mixed solution containing the sugar and the additive solution; and adding a fungi to the mixed solution to cause the fermentation of the sugar with the fungi, thereby producing ethanol. |
