The present invention provides a blast furnace hearth lining structure that is strong against structural spalling and highly resistant to molten metal and slag. With the premise that a SiAlON-bonded alumina brick having a β'-SiAlON bond, which is strong against structural spalling, is used as a lining brick, the lining structure of the present invention has disposed therein, respectively, a SiAlON-bonded alumina brick (8) wherein the amount of Si of β'-SiAlON origin in the brick has a specific range, at a site where more resistance to molten metal is required, and a SiAlON-bonded alumina brick (7) wherein the amount of O (oxygen) of β'-SiAlON origin in the brick has a specific range, at a site where more resistance to slag is required. |
