Helicopter with H-pattern structure

A helicopter with a H-pattern structure has pairs of counter-rotating front rotors 20 at left and right sides of a front region 11 and a rear region 12 of an airframe 10. A control device, comprising a control lever and a flight control system, are provided inside the front region, where the flight control system calculates a signal from the control lever and controls the front and rear rotors. Rotors 20 can preferably have their power angle individually adjusted, and each rotor 20 preferably comprises a windshield (25, Figure 2) outside the rotation radius of its propeller (24, Figure 2). The helicopter may comprise a parachute (70, Figure 6) allowing the helicopter to descend slowly. An H-pattern transmission may comprise a deceleration gearbox (53, Figure 4) for each pair of rotors 20 connecting them to a common engine (51, Figure 4). The body of airframe 10 may have a boat shape.
