A medical control system 100 includes a first controller 40 and a second controller 60 each of which are configured to control different peripheral equipment, an operation panel 20 configured to receive an operation to the first controller 40 and the second controller 60, and a switching device 30 configured to selectively switch a connection state between a first state in which the operation panel 20 and the first controller 40 are connected and a second state in which the operation panel 20 and the second controller 60 are connected. The switching device 30 is configured to report to the controller 40 a connection state, and the controller 40, when it detects a change in a connection state from the first state to the second state by a report from the switching device 30, releases a control which corresponds to an operation received by the operation panel 20 in the first state. |
