<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor suction tool of a vacuum cleaner which can assure strength and rigidity in a side wall of a housing holding a rotary brush in the structure enabling cleaning of a corner region against a wall on a floor surface. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding a floor suction tool 1, a gap Y is generated between a left-side wall 2L of a housing 2 and a floor surface X when the main suction port 4 of the housing 2 is opposed to the floor surface X. A bearing member 20 prepared in the left-side wall 2L holds the left end 11L of a rotary shaft 11 of a rotary brush 10 in the housing 2 so that it can freely rotate. An auxiliary brush 16 prepared in the end of the rotary shaft 11 located near the bearing member 20 goes into the gap Y to reach the corner region against a wall and captures the dust in the region. Since the left-side wall 2L has a metal plate 49 as a core body and is formed by integral molding of the metal plate 49 and resin, the left-side wall 2L can be thinned down while assuring high strength and rigidity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
