PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To much improve the appearance after repair of a tangible object for religion even when the repair of the surface of the tangible object for religion, in which gold foil is attached to the outer surface of a base body, is for a partial surface.SOLUTION: When performing the method of repairing the partial surface of the tangible object for religion including the base body 2 such as a Buddhist image and the gold foil 4 attached to the outer surface of the base body 2, the surface of the tangible object 1 for religion is washed so as to wash away using a washing liquid 11 first, then, new gold foil 17 is attached to the partial surface 7a of the surface 7 of the tangible object 1 for religion to form a new surface 18, and next, the contamination in contaminated washing liquid 12 after washing is stuck to the new surface 18. |
