<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash with improved fireproof performance, which allows fall-off of an outer sliding door during fire to be prevented, and allows a sash frame and a sliding door to be prevented from being damaged by combustible gas catching fire which is generated from heat insulation material during fire. <P>SOLUTION: A sash has a sill 5 comprising an outdoor-side sill material 5a having an outer rail 9, an indoor-side sill material 5b having an inner rail 10, a heat insulation material 7 made of resin which connects the outdoor-side sill material 5a and the indoor-side sill material 5b, and a reinforcement material 23 which is disposed between the outer and inner rails 9 and 10 and receives the load of an outer sliding door 2 during fire.
