<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of preventing the contamination of an ion generator due to the sticking of dusts and capable of stably supplying ions to an air intake duct with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has the ion generator 9 supplying ions to the air intake duct that is provided upstream of a dust collector 10 arranged in the air intake duct sucking air from the air intake port 2a and discharging the air from the air discharge port 14a by the driving of a powered blower 13, the ion generator 9 has an ion generating section 9b arranged in the box-like casing 9a and generating ions, an opening part 9c communicating the ion generating section 9b and the air intake duct, and hole parts 9f, 9g which are arranged in the casing 9a and through which lead wires 9d, 9e supplying power to the ion generating section 9b from the outside of the casing 9a are passed. Moreover gaps 9h, 9i through which the outside air of the casing 9a can go into the air intake duct from the inside of the casing 9a via the openings part 9c when the powered blower 13 is driven and the inside of the air intake duct falls in a negative pressure are formed between the hole parts 9f, 9g and the lead wires 9d, 9e, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
