<p>The present invention describes a process for manufacturing hardened steel for high-resistance piping intended to extract oil by means of the obtention of a slab with a predetermined chemical composition, within the API standard, also describing the obtention of the roll, by lamination, of said slab performed by lamination or hot roll, and the thermal treatment of the tube obtained from the steel roll obtained by hot roll. The process describes, as main innovations, the hot roll stages and particularly the thermal treatment stage, which enable a steel to be obtained with a suitable microstructure provided by the type and amount of phases, type and size of grain and distribution of carbides, required for obtaining the properties of high resistance and hardenability needed for being used as piping for extracting oil.</p> |
