<p>The present invention relates to a marketing method and apparatus using moving picture contents, by which, if a favorite product appears while watching a drama or movie, relative information is generated as a stop image or a moving picture file using a portable terminal, and the favorite product can be purchased by retrieving the product using the generated material and receiving product information. For the foregoing, the marketing apparatus using the moving picture contents comprises: a transmission/reception unit (210) for receiving the stop image or the moving picture file supplied from the portable terminal (100), and transmitting information processed in the inside to the portable terminal (100); a feature point extracting unit (220) for extracting a watermark or a feature point associated with a PPL product in the stop image or the moving picture file supplied from a user through the transmission/reception unit (210); a feature point retrieving unit (230) for retrieving consistent scenes by retrieving moving pictures of the drama or the movie, etc., stored in an inner DB using the feature point or the watermark of the extracted stop image or moving picture file; and an additional information extracting unit (240) connected to a server of a broadcaster or a movie company including scenes desired to be retrieved in the feature point retrieving unit (230), for extracting additional information of the PPL product including the scenes of the drama or the movie, from a server of the movie company or broadcaster.</p> |
