The present invention relates to an electric vacuum pump with a control function. The electric vacuum pump comprises: a motor module having an electric motor to provide a driving force using power applied from the outside; a housing arranged on one side to couple the motor module; a pump module having a pump intake port through which air is sucked and a pump discharge port through which the air is discharged and coupled to the other side of the housing; and a pump cover coupled to the housing to cover the pump module. In the pump cover, an inlet hole through which outdoor air flows inside is penetrated, and an intake passage to guide air from the inlet hole to a pump intake port is formed. An extension space part formed to obtain a space such that the passage of the air flowing inside through the inlet hole can be extended and a contraction space part formed to have the narrower passage of the air flowing inside than the extension space part are successively formed on the intake passage in an air flowing direction. Thus, the present invention can maintain the constant and stable degree of a vacuum while reducing noise, can make a structure of operating the motor module simple while occupying a small space, and can prevent moisture flowing from the pump module to the motor module. |
