METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TITANIUM PLATE HAVING EXCELLENT SURFACE QUALITY

The present invention relates to a method to manufacture a titanium plate having excellent surface quality capable of securing an elegant surface without an additional process such as surface polishing and electrochemical etching after hot rolled pickling of a titanium plate. According to the present invention, the method to manufacture a titanium plate having excellent surface quality comprises: an annealing heat treatment of the titanium plate step; a mechanical pretreatment step of removing scale of the surface of the titanium plate; and a mixed acid tank treatment step of pickling the titanium plate through a mixed pickling liquid including nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid. The concentration of hydrofluoric acid is controlled to be in a range of 5-6 wt% in the mixed acid tank treatment step. According to the configuration, the surface quality of the titanium hot rolled plate can be improved.
