An apparatus for controlling power supply of a personal computer peripheral device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an AC power interface unit connected to an AC power line; a PC power button interface unit connected to a PC power button; an interface unit for a PC power supply unit, connected to a power supply unit of the PC; a multi tab interface unit connected to a multi tab; and a micro controller unit (MCU) controlling the interfacing between the AC power interface unit, the interface unit for the PC power supply unit, and the multi tab interface unit to supply AC power to the PC power supply unit and the multi tab in the case of sensing an ON event of the PC power button.
