The present invention provides an apparatus for controlling separation of a flying object using time delay, capable of detonating a separation device by generating a loading signal and a detonating signal by hardware, and generating a detonating signal with time difference. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a flying object state determination unit to determine whether the current state of a flying object is normal; an electric energy generation unit to generate and output electric energy for separating a body part of the flying object from a propulsion part of the flying object in order based on the predetermined time difference when determining that the current state of the flying object is abnormal; and a flying object separation control unit to separate the body part from the propulsion part on the basis of the electric energy input in order.
