摘要 Provided are a porous silicon based negative electrode active material comprising: crystalline silicon (Si) particles; and multiple pores in the surface of the crystalline Si particles or the surface and the interior thereof wherein at least one face of the crystal face of at least a portion of the multiple pores comprises face <110> and a method for preparing the same. The porous silicon based negative electrode active material of the present invention efficiently controls volume expansion that occurs when charging and discharging a lithium secondary battery by having the volume expansion concentrated at the pores rather than the exterior of the negative electrode active material and is thus capable of improving the lifespan characteristic of the secondary battery.
