METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SHARING FILES BETWEEN TERMINAL DEVICES

Disclosed are a method and device for sharing files between terminal devices. The method comprises: establishing a wireless local area network using a first terminal device as a wireless hot spot; receiving a connection request sent by at least one second terminal device to the first terminal device; according to the connection request, establishing a long connection between the first terminal device and the at least one second terminal device; and selecting to-be-shared files in the first terminal device and sending the to-be-shared files to the at least one second terminal device. With embodiments of the present invention, the first terminal device is capable of sharing pictures, videos, music, documents and applications in the first terminal device with the second terminal devices, so that on the one hand, demands of files sharing between the first terminal device and the second terminal devices can be met in a simple way, and on the other hand, traffic of any terminal device on both sides does not need to be consumed during files sharing between the first terminal device and the second terminal devices.
