PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system capable of controlling a power supply channel between a solar cell and a power conversion unit to shut down or establish according to various conditions.SOLUTION: A power supply system 10 includes: a power conversion unit 1 which has a first connection 7 connected to a solar cell 11 and a second connection 8 connected to an electrical load 18; a connection unit 3 that connects the solar cell 11 and the first connection 7 to each other including a circuit breaker 2 disposed in the power supply channel; a detection section 4 that detects a specific event which occurs on the power conversion unit 1; and a control section 5 that selects one of ON and OFF of the circuit breaker 2 according to the specific event detected by the detection section 4.
