Various burners using firewood as fuel appear because of high oil prices. The burners have the disadvantage of having to input fuel more frequently than fossil fuel such as gas and oil. Firewood is input once and burned stably for a longer period of time by arranging a firewood input pipe vertically above a burning chamber, arranging firewood in a gravitational direction and burning the firewood from the bottom. Therefore, the firewood is burned uniformly for a long period of time. Air can be supplied to the firewood via two methods. One method of opening the top of the input pipe and lowering air to a burning position induces stable burning while effectively cooling the firewood inside the input pipe. But the method increases the possibility of backfire caused by a chimney effect if the input pipe is elongated. The other method of closing the top of the input pipe and supplying air upward can extend the length of the input pipe to a desired length but cannot adjust burning easily due to the generation of wood gas caused by the excessive pyrolysis of the firewood as burning heat is concentrated on the firewood input pipe right above and the firewood. A more stable burning environment is induced by installing an air supply pipe enveloping a certain region of the firewood input pipe right above the burning chamber having a burning heat concentrated thereon to supply outer air to the burning chamber after cooling the firewood input pipe by circulating the outer air along the air supply pipe. Moreover, the present invention can respond to additional supply of firewood by detachably adding a firewood input extension pipe to the firewood input pipe. |
