PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer having fewer bubble defects.SOLUTION: Provided are: a polyvinyl alcohol resin-made polarizer having air gaps, whose lengths in an absorption axis direction are 100 μm or greater, of 10 pieces/mor less; a polarizing laminate film on which the polarizer is laminated on at least one surface of a base material film; and a polarizing plate in which a transparent protective film is laminated at least on one surface of the polarizer, and a manufacturing method of the same. According to the present invention, a thin polarizer having fewer air gaps caused by bubble defects and a polarizing plate can be provided. |
