PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the practicality of a bulk component feed system including a bulk component feed device being moved together with a mounting head, and a method for supplying a bulk component to the bulk component feed device.SOLUTION: A bulk component feed system has a bulk component case 252 for housing electronic circuit components as bulk components in bulk state, a bulk component reservoir having a capacity larger than that of the bulk component case 252 and storing bulk components, and a device for vibrating or stirring the bulk components in the bulk component case while feeding the bulk components from the bulk component reservoir to the bulk component case. The vibrating or stirring device may be shared by at least a part a device for feeding the bulk components from the bulk component reservoir to the bulk component case. |
