one or more processors operating the flow cell battery system in multiple states, the multiple states comprising:
a charging state, wherein in the charging state, at least a portion of the electrolytes in the flow cell battery system are brought to a charged chemical state;a discharge state, wherein power is supplied to a load coupled to the flow cell battery system in the discharge state; anda shutdown state; wherein the controller switches the flow cell battery system from any state to the shutdown state when a fault is detected. |
