Provided is a tire rubber composition that whilst maintaining grip-performance sustainability and abrasion resistance during high speed travel exhibits dry-grip performance which surpasses conventional levels, said composition being characterized in that: 40-180 parts by weight of a carbon black exhibiting a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 80-400m2/g and 1-100 parts by weight of an aromatic copolymer are blended into 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber; and the aromatic copolymer is a copolymer of indene and an α-methylstyrene derivative expressed by formula (I). |
