<p>A method has been shown for making a co-processed product consisting of at least two components, of which a first component comprises a granular starch, and a second component comprises a non-granular hydrocolloid, a protein, an oil or another fat, said method comprising the steps of: -Making a solution, a suspension or a dispersion of the second component in water -Adding the first component -Heating the mixture made using steam -Drying the heated mixture in a so-called spray-cooker using hot air so as to obtain a dried powder in the form of a fine powder or larger agglomerates.</p> |
